In his condolence message, Honouable James Gunu described the victims as professionals whose patriotism and dedication to duty had left a lasting impression. He extended his solidarity to the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) and the bereaved families, noting that their loss is a pain beyond words. Honourable Gunu laid a wreath on behalf of the President and residents of the Volta Region. The Commanding Officer, 66 Artillery Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel Jalali Din Ibrahim, laid one on behalf of the Ghana Armed Forces. Togbe Adanu X, Paramount Chief of the Goviefe Traditional Area, represented the Volta Regional House of Chiefs, while Dr Hintemann KK Mbroh, Chief Executive of the Ho Teaching Hospital, laid the final wreath on behalf of health workers in the region. The Volta Regional Minister, Honouable James Gunu and the people of the Volta Region have on Sunday 10 August 2025 held a vigil at the Nfojo Park in memory the victims of the Z9 helicopter crash.
