A delegation from the Veterans Administration Ghana (VAG), led by Rear Admiral Peter Faidoo (Rtd), has paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) William Agyapong at the General Headquarters on Friday, 19 September 2025. The visit was to officially congratulate the CDS on his appointment and discuss key Administrative concerns.
Issues discussed include review of spouse pension, disparities in pension benefits across ranks, and encroachment of VAG properties. 
The delegation further emphasised the significance of the annual Poppy Appeal, symbolising remembrance for fallen comrades.
The Executive Director, Brig Gen Seidu Mumuni Adams (Rtd) expressed hope that personnel will wear the poppies from its launch on 10 October until 11 November 2025.
The CDS in response, expressed appreciation for the visit, listing some ongoing interventions. He reaffirmed the commitment of Command to support the Administration in addressing its challenges.
