The donated items include pairs of crutches, adult wheelchairs, pick-up walkers, walking sticks, office chairs, a cabinet, an automatic BP machine, a body wedge, stackable chairs, and limb braces. Presenting the items, the founder of the foundation, Dr Jessie Afari, stated that the donation was in response to a request from the Physiotherapy Department. She noted that the gesture is part of the foundation’s commitment to maintaining its cordial relationship with the hospital and assured continued support in the future. The Officer in Charge (OIC) of the Physiotherapy Department, Colonel Mohammed Ibn Abubakar, received the items on behalf of the hospital’s command. He expressed gratitude to the foundation for their generous support. The Jessie Afari Foundation, based on Spintex Road, has donated medical equipment to the Physiotherapy Department of the 37 Military Hospital on Thursday, 21 November 2024.
