The Member of Parliament for Tema East, Honourable Isaac Ashai Odamtten, has paid a courtesy call on the Flag Officer Commanding (FOC) Eastern Naval Command Commodore Solomon Asiedu-Larbi, on Wednesday 13 August 2025. The visit formed part of the efforts aimed at strengthening civil-military relations and discussing matters of mutual interest. Honourable Odamtten expressed appreciation for the Navy’s presence in the Tema East constituency, noting that it has significantly enhanced security and order in the community. He stressed the need to deepen collaboration between military personnel and civilians to foster peaceful coexistence and sustainable development. Commodore Asiedu-Larbi thanked the MP for the visit and reaffirmed the Navy’s commitment to working with stakeholders to promote peace, stability and progress in the town. He also highlighted the importance of security and assured that the Eastern Naval Command would continue to safeguard the area while supporting community development initiatives.
