The annual event honoured the memories of those who lost their lives in pursuit of global peace during World Wars I and II. The ceremony included key protocols such as wreath-laying, flag-raising, the sounding of the siren, the commemoration of the Armistice, and the observance of the Last Post. On parade were personnel from the First Battalion of Infantry (1BN), Ghana Immigration Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service, Ghana Police Service, and the Customs Division of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).
Security personnel from various agencies have observed the 79th Remembrance Day Parade at Jubilee Park in Koforidua on Monday 11 November 2024.
