The executives of the Retired Armed Forces Officers’ Wives Association (RAFOWA) have formally requested support from the Naval Headquarters (NHQ) to aid their humanitarian activities. The request followed a courtesy visit by the group to NHQ on Thursday, 21 November 2024, during which the President of the Association, Mrs Bertha Amedo, reaffirmed their commitment to community development, welfare, and empowerment. She highlighted the Association’s ongoing efforts to support the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital Cardiothoracic Centre and the 37 Military Hospital. Speaking on behalf of the Chief of the Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Issah Adam Yakubu, the Chief Staff Officer (CSO), Commodore Bright Emmanuel Kojo Atiayao, commended the RAFOWA executives for their dedication. He assured them of the Ghana Navy’s unwavering support in advancing their initiatives.
