A Professor of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Novant Health Campus, Professor William Ofori Ntim and his wife, Mrs Sally Ntim donated some medical items and medical books to the 37 Military Hospital at the Fore Court of the Hospital’s Headquarters on Saturday, July 22, and Monday, July 24, 2023. The medical items were presented to the Pediatric Division of the Hospital. The items included five cartons of lancets, four cartons of alcohol prep pads, two pediatric bp cuff, eight infrared thermometers, two pulse oximeters, one otoscope, one pediatric vein finder system and one step-down adapter. Presenting the items to the facility, Prof Ntim indicated that he was pleased to have the opportunity to give back to the Hospital, adding that the books will improve the educational level of health professionals in the Hospital as well as patient care. The books were received by the Commanding Officer of the Hospital, Col Evelyn Vivian Kwabiah assisted by the Commander of the formation Brig Gen Prosper Ayibor and thanked them for their generosity and assured them that the books will help improve the knowledge of Medical Doctors, Pediatricians and health professionals of the Hospital.
