The Old Barracks Boys and Girls Association (OBBGA) has donated medical items to the James Cole Ward of the 37 Military Hospital on Friday, 22 December 2023. The items included two wheelchairs, 20 packs of bel-aqua bottled water, 50 pieces of bedsheet, ten boxes of surgical gloves, two glucometers, four packs of glucometer strips and 25 liters of parazone were presented to the ward at a ceremony held at the Headquarters of the Hospital. President of the Association, Ex Warrant Officer First Class (Ex WO1) Rexford Kwafo presented the items and said that the donation was to support the ward. He was hopeful the association would donate more items in the future. The Commanding Officer 37 Military Hospital, Colonel Richard Mensah received the items on behalf of the ward and thanked the association for their benevolence. He said the items would be used appropriately for the purpose for which it was donated and encouraged individuals and corporate bodies to also emulate the kind gesture.
