The General Officer Commanding Northern Command, Brigadier General Matthew Kweku Essien has on Monday 12 February 2024 opened the 2024 Officers’ Promotional Examination (PROMEX) Cadre at the Justice Opoku Hall, Kamina Barracks. The two-week cadre would prepare eligible candidates for the written and practical phases of the examinations. This would essentially go a long way to set the stage for a high-level performance at both levels of the examination. Brigadier General Essien in his opening remarks reminded the candidates that the Command was noted for excellence hence urged them to take advantage of the training package and religiously attend classes in order to attain the desired results. He added that the experienced facilitators are to help the candidates through their preparations for the exams but they ought to put in their maximum to effort to ensure their success. Brig General Essien further encouraged them to make it a point to pass the exams at once and assured them of the Command’s support throughout the cadre.
