As part of the events lined up for the celebration, there was also an Inter unit stripping and assembling of weapons, apple eating and push ups competitions. In his remarks, the Guest of Honour, Deputy Chief of Staff in Charge of Logistics at the General Headquarters, Rear Admiral Agyenim Boateng, commended the Command for the tireless effort in meeting its mandate. He emphasised the commitment of the Military High Command to ensure that the needs of the Command were met. He commended the Flag Officer Commanding the unit Commodore Solomon Asiedu-Larbi, his officers and ratings for living peacefully with the local communities. The social activities were crowned with presentation of Awards to deserving Ratings who were deemed to have exhibited commitment to their duties. Dignitaries present were Chiefs and People from the Agave Traditional Area, representatives of the Tsiala Clan, Assembly Members of Nutepkor and Dalive as well as friends and partners of the Command. The Naval Training Command at Nutepkor has held the 2024 West African Soldiers Social Activity (WASSA) on Friday 3 January 2025.
