The Naval Training Command (NAVTRAC) has conducted stripe wetting ceremony for officers promoted to the next higher rank at the Officers Mess on Sunday 21 July, 2024. The age long Naval tradition, has been observed by wetting of the stripes of newly promoted officers either with alcohol or water to celebrate their accomplishment. In observance of the time-tested Naval ritual at NAVTRAC, Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS) (Logistics) at the General Headquarters, Rear Admiral Agyenim Boateng and the National Coordinator - Fisheries Enforcement Unit, Commodore Francis Nyarko wet the stripe of Flag Officer Commanding (FOC) NAVTRAC Commodore, Solomon Asiedu-Larbi. Aside that, Senior Officers took turns to wet the stripes of the Officers who were promoted in the Command.
