The National Security Coordinator, Mr Edward Asomani has pledged the support of the Ministry of National Security to sponsor the 2023/2024 Conflict and Crisis Management Course at the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC). He made this pledge as the Guest of Honour at the opening ceremony of the Conflict and Crisis Management Course on Monday 10 July 2023 held at the Hamidu Hall, GAFCSC in Teshie. Mr Edward Asomani disclosed that the Staff College is one of the leading institutions that run courses and modules which seek to bring together personnel from key national institutions to help achieve a synergy needed for national security and development. He stated that the main aim of the Conflict and Crisis course is to help participants identify and handle conflicts fairly and efficiently. Adding that their depth of knowledge, expertise and professionalism would be useful in the effective management of conflicts and crisis situations in the country and beyond. He spurred all the participants to seize every opportunity to engage their colleagues meaningfully to enhance and deepen their knowledge for the of their respective countries. The two-week course which will end on Friday 21 July 2023 is aimed providing a clear understanding of conflict crisis management to enable participants to work more effectively, efficiently and cohesively.
