This follows a courtesy call on the Chief of the Defence Staff, Lietenant General William Agyapong at the General Headquarters on Monday 11 August 2025. 
The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Christian Tetteh Yohuno has led the Police Administration to commiserate with the Ghana Armed Forces in the recent Z9 helicopter crash that occurred at Sikaman near Adansi Akrofuom in the Ashanti Region.
IGP acknowledged that the Police Service was deeply affected by the incident and assured CDS of the support of the Police Service during this difficult time.
On his part, Lt Gen Agyapong was grateful for the visit and show of solidarity, highlighting that such act of camaraderie strengthens the bond between the two institutions.
