The Ghana Army has graduated 17 elite operators from the Special Forces Basic Course 4-2025 after an intense eight-month training programme at the Right to Dream Academy, Akuse, on Friday, September 19 2025.

In his address, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Major General Lawrence Kwaku reaffirmed the critical role of the Army Special Operations Brigade in safeguarding national security and highlighted ongoing multinational collaborations, including Exercises Flintlock and African Lion, to enhance readiness against global threats. He expressed appreciation to local instructors and international partners the United States, United Kingdom, Austria, Denmark, India, and Egypt for their support in training and logistics.

COAS expressed pride in the graduates, commending them for their outstanding performance capabilities demonstrated to neutralize leveraged threats. He emphasized that the soldiers are now fully prepared for the most challenging assignments, both within Ghana and abroad.

The Commander of the Army Special Operations Brigade (ASOB), Brigadier General Richard K. Mensah, praised the graduates and partners for their commitment to strengthening Ghana’s Special Forces and overall military preparedness.
