French Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency Jules-Armand Aniambossou has described Ghana as a strategic partner when he called on the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General Thomas Oppong-Peprah on Tuesday 16 April, 2024. He further emphasized that the cooperation between the Armed Forces of both countries was an effective one which focuses on mutual benefits. The CDS in his remarks, highlighted the longstanding relationship between both countries, adding that, the collaboration between the GAF and the French military was important for security in the Sub-region. He therefore expressed his commitment to strengthening the cooperation in the area of training and capacity building.
