The Flag Officer Commanding (FOC), Eastern Naval Command (ENC), Commodore Solomon Asiedu-Larbi has paid a courtesy call on the Tema Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) Honourable Ebi Bright at her office on Tuesday 12 August 2025. The visit forms part of ongoing engagements to strengthen civil-military cooperation in addressing security and infrastructure challenges within the Command’s area of responsibility. The MCE underscored the importance of the longstanding partnership between the two entities, specifically highlighting the Navy’s critical role in land security management and its effective contributions to maritime safety in the region. She acknowledged the professionalism and operational discipline demonstrated by Naval personnel, assuring the FOC of the Assembly's readiness to foster collaboration in areas of mutual strategic interest. Commodore Asiedu-Larbi expressed appreciation to the Tema Metropolitan Chief Executive for the warm reception and reaffirmed the Navy's dedication to safeguarding lives, property, and national infrastructure.
