Ambassador Trchad Razaaly who was the guest lecturer for the visit discussed issues of security and peace building in Ghana and the West African sub-regions. He also mentioned the need for African states to deepen bilateral ties and cooperation with the European Union to foster trade and industrialization. He commended the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF), for establishing the noble institution to prepare selected military officers, senior officers from other security services and governmental agencies for strategic leadership. The Commandant NCDS, Major General Irvine Nii-Ayitey Aryeetey briefed the Ambassador on capabilities and activities of the college. He mentioned the important roles the college plays within the broader framework of national defence. Maj Gen Aryeetey expounded on programmes of the college and future modenisation plans aimed at strengthening national security in the country and beyond.
