The items which includes stationery, reading books and toothpaste were presented by the Second-in-Command, Major Vincent Abdul Samed Dawda. Deputy Headmistress of the school, Madam Hawa Touray, received the items on behalf of the institution and expressed her heartfelt appreciation for the support toward the students' academic and personal well-being. The gesture forms part of GHANCOY 9’s commitment to strengthening community relations and supporting educational and public health development in its area of operations.As part of its Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) initiative, ECOMIG GHANCOY 9 has donated educational and hygiene items to Sittanunku Lower Basic and Nursery School in The Gambia.
