The Chief Executive Officer (CEO), National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS), Dr Bernard Okoe Boye has donated training equipment to the Physical Training School (PT School) on Wednesday 25 October, 2023. The items which were donated at the forecourt of the Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Teshie, includes gym mats, training horse, hand gloves, ropes, air conditioners, seat harness and carabiners. Dr Okoe Boye acknowledged the invaluable role the military plays in the Ledzokuku Constituency and its environs and added that the donation aligned with the commitment of NHIS to support the healthcare of people within the location in which the scheme operates. He was grateful for the opportunity to assist in addressing some of the challenges of the school. He called for collaboration between the military, civil society and cooperate organizations for mutual benefit. In receiving the items, the Deputy Commandant TRADOC, Brigadier General (Brig Gen) Lawrence Gbetanu expressed gratitude Dr Okoe Boye for the kind gesture and stated that the equipment would enhance the training and fitness of GAF personnel.
