The Minister of Defence, Hon. Dominic Nitiwul, the Minister of Finance, Hon. Dr Mohammed Amin Adam, and the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General Thomas Oppong-Peprah, inspected newly procured vehicles and ongoing projects at Burma Camp on Monday 26 August 2024. Their visit covered various facilities, including the Ghana Armed Forces Central Band Complex, which features 192 two-bedroom accommodations for soldiers, the Base Ordnance Depot (BOD) warehouse, the new BOD headquarters the BOD school and workshops with Soldier accommodations. The delegation also reviewed newly acquired military vehicles and equipment. The Ministers expressed satisfaction with the progress and encouraged contractors to maintain their efforts to ensure timely project completion.
