La Cote D’Ivoire Defence Attaché (DA) Colonel (Col) Coulibaly Idriss has paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Vice Admiral Seth Amoama on Wednesday 9 August 2023 at his office in Burma Camp to discuss bilateral issues relating the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) and La Cote D’Ivoire Armed Forces. Vice Admiral Seth Amoama in an interaction with Col Coulibaly expressed delight in the existing relationship between GAF and La Cote D’Ivoire Armed Forces. He used the opportunity to commend his predecessor’s effort for reinforcing the strong bond of friendship and cooperation that exist between the two countries and was optimistic that the relationship will be strengthened further. He noted that this commendable relationship has made it possible for Ivorian Army to attend the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) and anticipates that this will go a long way to strengthen the mutual relationship between the two countries. Col Coulibaly, addressing CDS, conveyed appreciation for a warm reception by Vice Admiral Amoama and was hopeful that his tour of duty in Ghana will serve as a catalyst in fortifying the bond between the two countries.
