The Deputy Chief of Staff (Medicals), Major General (Maj Gen) Raymond Ewusi has presented first aid kits to the Ghana Military Academy (GMA) on Thursday, 18 July 2024 Presenting the kits which include 200 stuffed Individual First Aid Kits (IFAKs), 3 combat medic bags and 3 walk kits his alma mater, Maj Gen Ewusi disclosed that the gesture was to equip Cadets and staff of the Academy to be able to give first hand treatment to injured personnel during field exercises before the arrival of a doctor. He also expressed gratitude to the Commandant GMA, Brigadier General Charles Agyeman Prempeh for allowing Officer Cadets of Regular Career Course (RCC) 63 to undertake the Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Course which aimed to furnish them with the requisite skills to care for injured combat casualties. Brigadier General Agyeman Prempeh received the items on behalf of the Academy and appreciated Maj Gen Ewusi for his thoughtfulness. He said the support was timely and would complement the efforts of the Academy in providing Cadets with the basic necessities which would aid in their training. He also assured that the items would be put to good use for the benefit of the Academy.
