The Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), Major General Bismarck Kwasi Onwona, has visited the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College (GAFCSC) Senior Command and Staff Course 46 to witness their Land Combat Week celebration on Thursday 17 October 2024. Maj Gen Onwona shared his vision to maintain a cohesive, motivated, and well-rounded Army capable of undertaking its mission of national defence. He encouraged the college participants to take full advantage of the opportunity to gain more knowledge and urged them to apply the knowledge gained to shape their future paths. He also outlined the Army’s mission and strategic approaches to achieving its objectives, which include enhancing Ghana’s combat efficiency and effectiveness, providing relevant and efficient training, and ensuring effective administration and welfare at all levels, among other priorities.
