The Church of Pentecost has offered condolences to the Ghana Armed Forces following the recent Z-9 helicopter crash when the Chairman, Apostle Eric Kwabena Nyamekye delegated a team led by the Secretary General, Apostle Samuel Gyau Oboubi to pay a courtesy call on the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) William Agyapong.

The visit which took place on Monday 11 August 2025 at the General Headquarters saw Apostle Oboubi conveying the sympathies of the Church of Pentecost to GAF and assured CDS of the unwavering presence of God during this period of grief.

The Secretary General signed the book of condolence, encouraged the leadership of GAF to remain resilient and pledged their spiritual and moral support to the Armed Forces.

Lt Gen Agyapong expressed gratitude to the delegation for the visit, prayers and solidarity. He was also grateful to the Church of Pentecost for grieving with GAF during this time of national loss.
