The Chief of Kyebi Ahwenease, Barima Gyensi Koree, has donated Forty-Four (44) bales of treated mosquito nets at the cost two thousand, two hundred cedis (2,200) to the 37 Military Hospital on Monday October 30, 2023. Presenting the nets, Barima Gyensi Koree noted that the mosquito nets have been certified by the World Health Organization (WHO) and approved by the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA), adding that the nets were specifically made for the Ghanaian Market. Barima Gyensi Koree stressed that this benevolence follows his admission to the hospital some time past where he realized some patients and their relatives at the hospital do not sleep under treated mosquito nets. The Commanding Officer (CO), 37 Military Hospital, Col Richard Mensah received the nets and thanked Barima Koree for the kind gesture shown to patients and their relatives of the facility. Present at the donation were the Commander, Brig Gen Prosper Ayibor, Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) Col Francisca Aba Amakye, CNO Clinic Col Patience Owusu Aidoo, Administration Officer Medical Lt Col Alex Abiti and senior officers.
