The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General Thomas Oppong-Peprah has visited various units under the Support Services Command in Burma Camp on Thursday, 13 June 2024. He was briefed at the Command Headquarters (HQ) on the logistics, administrative, operations as well as challenges facing the Command. He subsequently toured the Ghana Military Police HQ, Base Workshop, Electrical, Mechanical and Engineering HQ, the Technical Training School and Base Supply Depot. The CDS assured personnel in the aforementioned Units of his commitment to addressing their challenges. He reiterated that, the 160 bed accommodation unit for Base Ordinance Depot behind El- Wak Stadium would also be completed to solve troop accommodation problems. Lieutenant General Oppong-Peprah then inspected the stalled Military Police HQ and pledged to help complete the project. He also promised to renovate the butchery at the Base Supply Depot.
