During his speech, Lt Gen Oppong-Peprah emphasised the importance of professionalism and discipline among civilian staff. He encouraged teamwork and prioritised personal safety and health through regular exercise and healthy eating. The CDS also remarked that the Military High Command would review outdated policies and ensure they align with current security and operational trends. He tasked his appropriate Staff Officers to address salary and promotion discrepancies, as well as accommodation issues that affected DCS. The Chief of the Defence Staff, (CDS) Lieutenant General (Lt Gen) Oppong-Peprah, has held his maiden Durbar with Defence Civilian Staff (DCS) at Burma Hall in Burma Camp on Tuesday 26 November 2024.
