Executives of the Retired Commissioned Officers Association (RCOA) have applauded the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) Lieutenant General Thomas Oppong-Peprah for his well-deserved appointment and promotion. The Association led by its President, Brigadier General S Yanyi-Akorfur (Rtd) commended the CDS when they visited him at the General Headquarters on Wednesday 27 March, 2024. The Executives also took the opportunity to discuss issues of concern to the Association and encouraged the CDS to remain focused on his objectives in order to deliver the needed peace and security for the country in the upcoming elections. Brig Gen Yanyi-Akorfur recalled the enormous support the Association enjoyed from the CDS when he was the Chief of the Army Staff. Lieutenant General Oppong-Peprah thanked them for the goodwill and assured them of his commitment to support the association. He also assured them that the operational and training requirements needed for the safety of Ghana would be provided.
