Blastours Ghana Limited, a travel and tour company, has donated 50 Djembe drums to the 5 Garrison Education Centre (5 GEC) of the Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) on Wednesday, 25 October 2023 at the forecourt of 5 GEC in Burma Camp. The Managing Director of Blastours Ghana, Madam Mimi Abe Blay Asmah in presenting the drums mentioned that the drums were donated with the purpose of improving the creative aspect of education in schools and the country at large. The Chief Garrison Education Officer, Colonel (Col) Livingstone Penti, who received the drums on behalf of the Military High Command and the Centre stated that the donation would assist the students with extra-curricular activities. He also mentioned that these drums would be distributed to other Garrison Schools in Tamale, Kumasi, Ho and Takoradi.
