The Army Recruits Training School (ARTS) at Shai Hills has held its annual end of year West African Soldiers Social Activity (WASSA) on Monday 25 December, 2023. The event started with an Inter-Company Quiz with Mayohaung Company emerging as winners. More so, different activities such as the musical chairs, dancing competition, bouncing castle, throw and win among others took place. The Commanding Officer ARTS, Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Abdul Wahab Issah celebrated the bond, dedication, hard work and commitment of each personnel to the mission of the training school. He applauded the personnel for displaying unwavering courage and resilience amidst challenges which attested to the fact that the success of the school was the result of teamwork, discipline and sacrifice. Reflecting on the year under review, Lt Col Issah revealed that the professionalism, loyalty, and hard work of the instructors have not gone unnoticed, and that they are the backbone of the Unit. He urged them to face any challenges that may come in the course of their duty with the same determination and unity that has brought them success. Lt Col Issah commended personnel for their dedication, support and commitment.
