The 4 Medical Reception Station (4MRS) has organised a breast cancer awareness campaign for 4 Garrison personnel and their families at the OB Akwa Auditorium on Friday 25 October 2024. The Principal Midwife of 4MRS, Flight Lieutenant Georgina Asamoah, highlighted the seriousness of breast cancer and encouraged attendees to seek immediate medical attention if they noticed any changes in their breasts. She also emphasised the importance of regular self-examinations, recommending monthly self-checks to detect any signs early and ensure timely reporting to a health facility.
