The ceremony, held quarterly, saw the Ghana Army hand over security responsibility of the Jubilee House to the Ghana Navy, underscoring the importance of vigilance, readiness, and maximum security at the seat of government. The President and Commander-in-Chief of the Ghana Armed Forces, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, was the guest of honour. He was accompanied by the Minister for the Interior, Honourable Henry Quartey, and the Service Chiefs. The Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), Lieutenant General Thomas Oppong-Peprah, has joined distinguished guests to witness the 42nd ceremonial guard changing parade at the Jubilee House on Monday, 18 November 2024.
