The 1 Infantry Battalion (1BN) has organised a fun-filled event for Officers, Soldiers, Defence Civilians Staff, and their spouses at Michel Camp, Tema, on 7 September 2024. The activities commenced with aerobics, football, volleyball, Ludu, and handball competitions, fostering camaraderie among the Unit's personnel and their families. During the ceremony the Commander Rear of 1BN, Lt Colonel Frank Adams, expressed his appreciation for everyone's participation, emphasising the importance of such events in promoting unity and strengthening bonds. He also announced plans to organise these fun games every three months, highlighting their role in creating a positive work environment, reducing stress, and enhancing overall well-being and job satisfaction. Magajiya of the Unit, Mrs Nuella Nii Okai, conveyed her gratitude to the commanding officer for the successful programme and expressed the wives' eagerness for more opportunities to gather and promote solidarity among themselves.
