The Ghana Armed Forces Computer Centre in Burma Camp has held a closing ceremony for Intermediate Information Technology Course 1-2025 on Friday 25 July 2025.

The course which was aimed at building the capacity of personnel had a total of 16 Students drawn from various cells of the Directorate, span 24 weeks covering lessons in computer hardware, software, networking and cyber security.

The Director Information Technology, Colonel (Col) Yakubu Boabeng Abdulai commended the students for their composure during the 24 weeks of rigorous training, stating that the course was designed to build the capacity of participants and also improve their abilities to perform tasks effectively.

Col Abdulai urged students to desist from illegal operations which tarnish the name of the Directorate and Ghana Armed Forces.

Awards were presented to deserving students who excelled in the course. Private Attah-Naab Joseph, Private Peprah Dennison and ABII Boyase Lawrencia were awarded for placing first, second and third respectively.
