A farewell parade has been held for the Fourth Ghanaian Company of Ecowas Stabilisation Support Mission in Guinea Bissau (ESSMGB GHANCOY 4) on Friday 25 July 2025, as it departs Accra for deployment. The reviewing officer, Director Human Resource at the Department of Personnel Administration, General Headquarters, Colonel John Danso-Ankrah, urged the Combat Team Commander of GHANCOY 4, Lieutenant Colonel Isaac Keelson Ekow Amoah and his troops to conduct themselves as worthy ambassadors of Ghana while contributing to regional peace and stability. He encouraged GHANCOY 4 personnel to uphold the level of professionalism the Ghana Armed Forces has consistently demonstrated over the years, both at home and on international missions, while performing their duties in Guinea-Bissau.
